Using « Custom Field For Featured Post/Category Page ». Si quelqu’un pouvait m’expliquer :-)
(et bravo pour le travail de traduction ! Je me suis senti moins perdu…).

  • Li-An dit :

As a professional shopper, I have learned the tricks of the trade early on regarding smart shopping. Here are some of the top mistakes that are commonly made when shopping. Many of my clients face the issue of not realizing why they make some of the purchases they do and continuously face the dilemma of not having anything to wear.
    1.  » But it was on sale! » – Although that blouse may be tempting to purchase because it is only $19.99, you must consider several things before making this purchase. Do I have something just like this in my closest? What else would this go with in my wardrobe? Does this add to my wardrobe? Would I buy it if it were regular price? Is this a quality piece? Ultimately you will save yourself money by not purchasing things merely for that reason, because you will still have a void in your wardrobe.
    2. « This is the hottest look of the season. » – Being trendy and stylish can mean two very different things. Especially when not all body types can wear the same trends. Many times clients that I shop with tend to pick up the same types of styles, not realizing that they have been shopping for things they would like to wear versus what looks best on their shapes. This is a sad day for us all to learn that we may not be able to sport that cropped jacket, but wearing what is cut for your body type is so much more stylish that wearing what will be in for one season.

« Why do I shop, yet I still have nothing to wear! » Taking inventory of your closet is something that surprisingly, many people do not do. Clients of mine may have hidden gems in their wardrobe that for a variety of reasons they may not even have in rotation. We do a « closet audit » and find out what you do not wear, what needs to be tossed and kept. By doing this, you remove clutter and open your mind to many clothing options you have as well as find out pieces you need to bring your wardrobe and overall look together. Also, by doing this, people realize how many of the same types of pieces they have whether it be a dozen creme tops or 15 pairs of jeans in the same wash! We tend to buy what we like, not realizing… »uh, I have this already. »
To avoid having a closet full of pieces that are not cohesive follow this general rule of thumb: If it can not be worn with at least 3 other pieces in my closet, do not purchase it.

  • DIGITAL CAMERA LCD and PLASMA SCREENS – HOW DID WE LIVE WITHOUT THEM?
Can the camera show you an image of the shot you just took? Many cameras these days allow you to preview the shot on a screen on the back. This is such an important part of cameras these days that it makes me wonder how we lived without it. The question is, how big is the screen on the back? Can you zoom in to make sure your picture was not blurry? How many pixels is the screen, how many colors? Is it an LCD screen? What is an LCD Screen?
LCD – liquid crystal display: a digital display that uses liquid crystal cells that change color to show you the image you just took.
    Speed of the camera
How fast does the camera save the picture after you have taken the shot? What is the time the camera takes to save the picture to the memory? Can you take multiple shots, or does the camera have to wait before you can take another shot.
All of these questions should be answered when buying a camera.
In fact, many digital cameras released now can actually shoot so fast that they are virtually taking a movie through the lens – at 24 or more shots per second. The main thing is. Try the camera out, see how long the lag is between displaying the shot after you took it. See if you like the image, if it has good color and you can zoom in to see the result.

  • These are some of the most popular reasons why people will need oversized towel bars in their home. Linen racks for your bathroom are traditionally available in a 24 inch size. However, you can also find them in a 36 inch or even 48 inch size. If this is not enough space, You can look into a rack that features two, three or, even four bars with one mount. You can also consider a floor rack that will take up floor space rather than wall space. If you never seem to have enough space to hang all of your linens neatly on the rack you currently have, take a look at the many different rack configurations available to you today.

  • Other people may need to hang more than two towels up at a time. In some homes, towel bars are used for looks more than function. Any linens that are actually used may hang in a different location to dry. However, in some homes, the towel bars are used for function. When a bathroom is used regularly by more than two people, there is often a need to hang more than two towels on a rack at a time. Some people will solve this dilemma by hanging two racks in a single bathroom. However, depending on the wall space available, hanging two towel bars may not be a feasible option.

Amazon, owner of the hugely popular Kindle eBook reader have recently announced that for the first time ebooks have out sold printed books. Is this the end of printed books? Probably not. With the announcement that ebooks are out selling printed books, Amazon have also said that printed books sales are up too.
So what does this mean for paperback books. Well from this point it’s just a prediction but I postulate that paper books have seen their day. With bookshops operating on slim margins and many closing in recent months it seems as though the electronic world has hit them hard.
